Hohoho! Merry Christmas from a socially distanced Father Christmas!

What a magical morning it has been at St Edward’s CE Primary School as Father Christmas dropped in to say Merry Christmas to all the children and staff. The Christmas spirit was certainly felt as he arrived on the playground and faces full of delight as they heard the bells ring. The children were extremely grateful to receive a parcel from Father Christmas too.

What a year it has been but how well the children have adapted to the new way of life Covid-19 has brought us. Parcels well deserved and a restful break to follow.

Merry Christmas from all at St Edward’s

  • Odd Socks Day

Odd Socks Day - Monday 16th November - Celebrating difference

    What is Odd Socks day?

Most importantly, Odd Socks Day is designed to be fun! It’s an opportunity to encourage people to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique!

There is no pressure to wear the latest fashion or for parents to buy expensive costumes. All you have to do to take part is wear odd socks to school.

Odd Socks day takes place on the first day of Anti Bullying Week each year to help raise awareness of bullying.

St Edward’s CE Primary School Virtual Harvest Festival

Usually the whole school walks to our village church for a Harvest Festival where each class performs a Harvest themed piece.

This year, we've tried to keep up the tradition by taking part in a Virtual Harvest Festival.

Click here to view our Harvest Festival

    Enjoy!

Celebrating Harvest provides us with the opportunity to consider the work of others to ensure we have food, especially fresh produce throughout the year. It also helps us consider those people who, unfortunately do not have the means to buy food.

Thank you for your generous donations, these will be gifted to The Shrewsbury Ark. Your donations will go a long way in helping local people in need.
