Families

At St Edward's we are proud to have fantastic links with our families. Parents are incredibly supportive of the school, attending events, supporting with reading, coming along to find out about their children's learning and sharing a pride in what we do each day. Families make sure that children come to school on time, wear the correct uniform and read each day. We share learning through Twitter and via our website. 

St Edward's Church

As a church school, we have very close links with St Edward’s Church, Dorrington. Reverend Laura has been a regular visitor to our school leading worship most Tuesdays. Other members of the church also lead worship, Chris Breakell is a regular visitor to our school.

The whole school visits the church four times a year for special services to celebrate Harvest, Christmas, Easter and for our Year 6 Leavers. Classes of children often visit the church as part of their RE curriculum work.

Reverend Laura has been an active members of the Worship Committee, supporting the children’s ideas and working as a team with the committee to lead church services for the school.

Morris Care - Stretton All Care Home

The school has close links with Stretton Hall Care Home, sending cards to residents and visiting to share learning and singing. The children value this hugely and gain a great deal from our link.
