Little Charlie

Class Information

PE

PE will be on a Wednesday Children should come to school in their PE kit on their PE day.

Forest School

Dragonflies will be going to Forest School weekly and sessions will be on a Thursday. Children should come to school in their Forest School kit on their Forest School day.

Drinks & Snacks

Please ensure that your child brings a drink of water (not fruit drinks or squash) to school each day. This needs to be in a labelled bottle that we can keep in the classroom which can be accessed during the day.

Your child will receive a piece of fruit during morning break.

Homework

Homework will be set on a Monday via email.

Books

Reading practice books will be sent home on a Thursday and will need to be returned by the following Wednesday

Phonics - Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised

   

Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised is a systematic and synthetic phonics programme, which ensures children build on their growing knowledge of the alphabetic code, mastering phonics to read and spell as they move through school.
