Extra-Curricular Clubs

A wide variety of extra-curricular clubs are offered. These include sporting, arts and other activities.

We offer an inclusive approach to sports clubs which are run separately to school teams and enable all children to take part, enjoy and improve their ability, attitude and stamina.

Music Clubs

Mrs Felton will be running the following lunchtime music clubs for the rest of the term:

Monday – Shropshire Music Service – Private tuition in school

Gardening Club

Mrs Mason will be running the following lunchtime gardening club for the rest of the term:

Sports Club 

Shrewsbury Town Foundation will be running a sports club on a Thursday lunch time this half term weather dependant. 

JAM Club NEW*

Mrs Felton, Rev Laura and Mrs King will be running this club on a Thursday after school between 3.15 and 4.15pm. 

JAM club (Jesus and Me) will begin with toast and jam and a drink and will then consist of a variety of activities linked to church and community. We are particularly excited to be working towards the Archbishop of York’s Young Leader’s Award which will explore the theme of Courageous Advocacy and giving a voice to those who are unable to speak up for themselves. We will be looking at projects locally, nationally and internationally as the children identify what it is they would like to change about the area they live in – before casting their thoughts further afield and to the wider world. They will then come up with their projects and action plan.
