As a church school, we have very close links with St. Edward’s Church, Dorrington. Reverend Laura has been a regular visitor to our school leading worship most Tuesdays. Other members of the church also lead worship, Chris Breakell is a regular visitor to our school.

The whole school visits the church four times a year for special services to celebrate Harvest, Christmas, Easter and for our Year 6 Leavers. Classes of children often visit the church as part of their R.E. curriculum work.

Reverend Laura has been an active members of the Worship Committee, supporting the children’s ideas and working as a team with the committee to lead church services for the school.

We team up with Reverend Geoff - another active member of the Worship Committee and minister of Condover Church, to organise an annual Prayer Spaces Day for the both St Edward’s and Condover Schools. Reverend Geoff invites a Youth leader from the Church of England to come and set up creative prayer opportunities for all the children to build on their spiritual life in school. They are always well received by the children.
