Based on a Scandinavian idea, Forest School involves children working with a qualified Forest School leader on a regular basis throughout the year in a local woodland setting.

The school has its own Forest Area, located within the school grounds.

Forest School supports play, exploration and risk taking. It develops confidence, self-esteem and language and communication skills through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural setting. Forest School helps children to become resilient, creative and independent learners.

Please be aware that we will be outside in ALL weather apart from high winds and storms. It is vitally important that your child is dressed appropriately so that they can get the most of their experience.
